SUNDAY: The panoramic circuit of the Fuente del Espino and a very interesting folk museum.

TUESDAY: The Bailón gorge and the vía verde, on the trackbed of the 'little train of the olives' which served to transport the olive oil and other agricultural produce of Córdoba and Jaén provinces to the cities and for export. Lunch in a former station. Visit to a famous olive mill at Baena.

WEDNESDAY: Soto de Algallarín: the banks of the Guadalquivir. Arrival at Cordoba. Exploration of a typical patio, of the synagogue and of a Mudéjar chapel.

THURSDAY: Cordoba: Roman bridge, temple and walls; Omeyyad great mosque, noria, baths and minarets; delightful squares and patios, Alfonsina churches. Discovery of three important Cordobese artists: the poet Luis de Góngora, the painter Julio Romero de Torres and the writer Antonio Gala.

FRIDAY: Trassierra: from the Guadiato valley to the picturesque Fuente del Elefante and the village of Santa María. Madinat al-Zahra: ruins of the glorious but ephemeral city-palace of the caliphs.
